Home Automation
Envision this scenario:
You wake up late one weekday morning. You’re spouse is in the shower, the kids are still sleeping, and you are going to be late for work. So you jump out of bed, race downstairs to start the coffee pot, run back upstairs to wake the kids, jump into the shower, and get dressed. Aware of the quickly passing time, you fly downstairs again to prepare school lunches, while signing test papers. When the kids are finally ready to go, you grab your keys and briefcase and run out the door. You drop the kids off at school, and half-way to work you realize that you are wearing two different color socks, you forgot to turn the coffee pot off, you left the curling iron on, and you forgot to turn out the lights. So now, you have to race back home to do all of this when you are already late for work
NOW...Imagine this same scenario with the addition of a newly installed Home Automation System. Your mornings may still be hectic, however, as easy as it is to start your car; you can set your burglar alarm, lower the thermostat, disable the outlets for the coffee pot and curling iron, and turn off all the lights in the house, by simply pressing a single button.
BUT THERE’S MORE!…
You can also program your home automation system to turn on the lights, turn on the T.V., raise the thermostat, turn on the sprinklers, pre-heat the oven, and much much more; all by using one remote.
